Welcome to Lalita Bath and Body Care!

For over a decade, Subha and I have been close friends, sharing countless conversations about everything from family and kids to work and life in general. One topic that frequently came up was our concern over the overwhelming number of unreadable ingredients in the products we use daily.

With teenage kids and a growing awareness of the need for simpler, more natural alternatives, we decided to revisit traditional, time-tested remedies. Around August of 2023, we started experimenting with herbal products made from kitchen-grade ingredients, and the results were astonishing. What began with just a couple of products—bath powder (nalangu maavu) and herbal hair wash—quickly turned into a passion project.
